Cooperation with a Projection for Future Development
A meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held in Ashgabat on May 24. With the participation of the heads of delegations, the meeting chaired by Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, who is Chairman of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2024, was held in a narrow format. Within the framework of the approved agenda, a constructive exchange of views on strengthening the economic component of cooperation in the CIS space took place. Then the meeting continued in an extended format. The subjects of discussion were energy, transport, cultural and humanitarian areas. The documents, adopted following the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States, reflect the common vision of the participating countries of the potential for interaction with a projection for the future development of constructive cooperation.
