Ahalteke horse marathon

«7/24. tm» №18 (205), 29.04.2024 Turkmen horses competed in a long-distance race at the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains in Ak Bugday etrap, Ahal velayat, which marked the National Turkmen Horse Day. The organiser of the sporting event is the Turkmen Atlary State Association. 20 Turkmen horses from the horse breeding complexes of the country came to the start line. The marathon route consisted of two 30-kilometre sections and ran through rough terrain.
