National Exhibition of Turkmenistan in Tashkent

Negotiations between the President of Turkmenistan and the UN Secretary-General

Meeting of the council of heads of government of the commonwealth of Independent states

On May 24, 2024, a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held at the capital's Garagum Hotel. The delegation of Turkmenistan was headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Kh. Geldimyradov. As a Sign of Friendly Relations

Highly appreciating the friendship with the wife of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Mrs Ogulgerek Berdimuhamedova and expressing her readiness to continue to work together to expand friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two fraternal peoples, the wife of the Chairman of the People’s Republic of China, Mrs Peng Liyuan addressed Mrs Ogulgerek Atayevna Berdimuhamedova a warm message and sent gifts for the granddaughters of the Hero-Arkadag. The donated traditional Chinese handicrafts symbolise the commonality of cultural traditions that the peoples of Turkmenistan and China carefully preserve and pass on from one generation to another.

Cooperation with a Projection for Future Development

A meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held in Ashgabat on May 24. With the participation of the heads of delegations, the meeting chaired by Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, who is Chairman of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2024, was held in a narrow format. The Goal of the Forum in Turkmenistan is Interstate Coordination of Railway Transport

Global Support for the Wellbeing of Humankind

The UN News Centre has recently notified the world community about an important initiative of Turkmenistan, which received unanimous approval during the 63rd plenary meeting of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly. The UN General Assembly by consensus adopted the Resolution “2025 – International Year of Peace and Trust”, proposed by Turkmenistan. The document was co-authored by 86 states. This document reflects the fundamental goals and principles of the UN Charter, in particular the obligations to resolve disputes by peaceful means and methods. The Resolution also provides a mechanism for attracting voluntary contributions to the Trust Fund for the International Year, with organisational matters entrusted to the UNESCO and UN Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs.
