Due to its geographical position at the crossroads of the Great Silk Road, our country has developed and is developing as a country that unites two worlds – the East and the West. Therefore, the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people is also a common human heritage. To promote the preservation of the cultural diversity of the peoples of the world, to make known and protect unique objects of the cultural and historical heritage of humankind are a priority for UNESCO in the field of culture.
