A particularly long-awaited time for schoolchildren is approaching – the beginning of the summer season at children’s health centres, of which there are about thirty in our country in total. Most of them are located near Ashgabat: in the unique natural health resort Geokdere in a kind of “bowl” formed by the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains, eight - on the Caspian coast, in Avaza and Hazar, and the remaining five - in the velayats.
The readiness of all children’s health resorts for the beginning of the summer season is known to have been discussed at a sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, held last Friday in a digital format. It was emphasised that owing to the tireless care of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the younger generation, children in our country lived a happy life. Every year during the summer vacation season, they can fully relax and strengthen their health at health centres in various parts of our country, where targeted events, aimed at the harmonious development of children, the identification and disclosure of their multifaceted talents and capabilities, are traditionally held.
