The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov creates wide opportunities for our young citizens. Excellent conditions are created for the peaceful, joyful and happy childhood of the younger generations. The opportunities created in the summer children's health and recreation centres vividly demonstrate the above-mentioned fact. Such happiness is characteristic feature of each child in our Motherland, because Turkmenistan is the home of a happy childhood.

A philosophy of life

Our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted at the Third Meeting of the Elders’ Council under the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Aid to Children in Need of Guardianship held in the building of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan that he had finished writing the book ‘Ömrümiň manysynyň dowamaty’ and that the book had been published. The new book is a sequel of the book ‘Ömrümiň manysy’ by our Hero-Arkadag. The humanistic principles of our people are reflected in different literary works by the National Leader of the Turkmen people. In the book ‘Ömrümiň manysynyň dowamaty’, the author describes the episodes and moments of life from a philosophical point of view.

A valuable guide

The opening of the city of Arkadag and the presentation of the book ‘Arkadag City – a City of the Future’ revealed the features of this city, which has no equals in the region, and provoked the pride of our compatriots. The Turkmen people and foreign readers received this book as a worthy gift at the opening ceremony of the city of Arkadag. The literary work was presented on the eve of the opening of the city of Arkadag, a city of the future, to provide information about the projects of the first phase of the development of the modern city with photographs that tell about the unique features of new buildings and facilities. Gardens are the peace of nature

The Turkmen people have always cherished their soil, nature, flora, fauna, and water. They took effective steps to preserve nature. First, it was forbidden to pollute and damage the soil, it was considered a sin to cut blooming trees, burn them, and pollute water. Our ancestors cleaned environment from weeds and dirt. They burned weeds and removed wastes. The excavations revealed special areas for garbage along with dwellings, storehouses, fortified towers, and kitchens in the ancient fortresses. These facts demonstrated that our ancestors had paid special attention to cleanliness. Archaeologists have proven that these areas were in small fortified towers and fortifications.

A city of national importance

The city of Arkadag is closely connected with the Turkmen capital, Ashgabat, which provides perfect conditions for its administration. The presence of executive power in the city of Arkadag demonstrates its significance. Cities of national importance are considered as separate administrative-territorial units. These cities are of particular importance in the socio-economic development of the country and regions. According to the Law of Turkmenistan ‘On the City of Arkadag’ adopted on March 23, 2023, the city of Arkadag has the special legal status of ‘a city of national importance’. In this context, according to the Decree of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan ‘On the Creation of New Etraps in the City of Arkadag’ adopted on March 18, 2023, Karizek and Gorjav Etraps were established in the city of Arkadag. According to the Decree adopted on May 10, 2023, a residential complex in Karizek Etrap of the city of Arkadag entered into official status of a settlement. The settlement was named after skilful horse breeder Aba Annaev.

Education is the light of happiness

Improvement of the national education system and modernization of its legislative base is a priority of the state policy in the revival of the new epoch of the powerful state. Thanks to the concern of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, educational institutions are provided with modern computers, equipment, interactive and multimedia technologies within the framework of improving the national education system. As is known, a draft version of the Law of Turkmenistan ‘On Education’ was adopted on June 5, 2021, to regulate the legal basis of relations in the field of education, to define the principles of the state policy, as well as the goals, tasks, work conducted in the education system and the organizational basis of its management. Education is the basis of effective and systematic activity based on the needs of the individual, society and the state in the field of preparation and training of the younger generations in Turkmenistan. The legislation of Turkmenistan in the field of education is based on the Constitution of Turkmenistan and other normative legal documents regulating education issues in our country.

New book is new guide

The book ‘Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship’ highlights the important issues. The Printing Centre of Turkmen State Publishing Service published the book in the Turkmen, English and Russian languages. The work of the Fund, which has been established at the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in March 2021, is described in detail on the pages of the book. Published in the year ‘Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar’, the book provokes great interest of readers and consists of several chapters, each of which is dedicated to a specific area. These chapters are ‘Prosperity Has Its Own Terms’, ‘Alms Never Make Poor’, ‘The Value of Life Is Health’, ‘Guardianship Is Hope That Never Fades’, are ‘Guardianship Creates Solidarity’.

Awards for young scientists

Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan has recently hosted the awards ceremony for the winners of the scientific competition held among the youth of Turkmenistan. The Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan organized the prestigious competition on Science Day, which was celebrated on June 12. The members of the Government, heads of ministries and departments, representatives of the scientific community, professors and lecturers of the institutions of higher education, and students took part in the awards ceremony for the winners. The participants of the international scientific conference ‘Science, Technology and Innovative Technologies in the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State’ considering the development of mutually advantageous cooperation with the international scientific community were invited to the event as the guests of honour.

The poetry by the great thinker

The noble personality and intelligent creativity of Magtymguly Pyragy have a special place in the centuries-old history of the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, as well as in the literary world of the East. Thus, the great poet and thinker made an invaluable contribution to the world culture and to the philosophy of the Turkmen people. The wise poet loved the country with all his heart and devoted his whole life to the Motherland and its well-being. Thus, the poems about the Motherland, country, and unity occupy the most prominent place among the poet's works. Magtymguly Pyragy composed a great number of poems addressing these issues. Magtymguly wrote the poems of educational character, which foster the humane qualities in young people. In these poems, he aimed to give noble advices to his contemporaries. The poet called them to being brave, generous, kind, open-handed, hospitable, and condemned those who are rude, unscrupulous, arrogant, and bad-tempered.
