The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the city of Arkadag, where he acquainted himself with the layouts of land plots and draft designs of buildings and facilities. Currently, the pace of construction of the second stage of the development of the city of Arkadag is increasing thanks to the efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people. This is evidence of the successful implementation of the large-scale urban development programme initiated by Hero-Arkadag and successfully continued by Arkadagly Serdar.

Energy sector productivity is increasing

Large-scale projects are being implemented in the country under the leadership of our Hero Arkadag Serdar. Electricity transmission networks are laid in all parts of our country, substations are built, and the energy supply system of settlements is renewed. In this field, the government continues programmatic measures to train excellent specialists and build modern institutions and enterprises, and the opportunities to send them to foreign countries are expanded. On November 3, the President of Turkmenistan was on a business trip to Balkan Velayat. There, the Turkmen leader attended the laying of the foundation of a new electric power station — a 1,574 megawatt power plant in Turkmenbashi etrap. According to the noble tradition, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave his blessing to the state work, left a memorial inscription on the foundation of the new facility and launched the construction of the power station. In the new power plant, all production operations will be automated through a digital system and connected to the control centre. Commissioning of this facility will provide the need for electric energy in the western region of the country, strengthen the energy security of the Motherland, increase the amount of electric energy sent to neighboring countries, and open new export routes.
