Extended Sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov conducted an extended sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which the results of the work of economic sectors for 2023 were summed up, reports from deputy prime ministers, a number of heads of ministries and velayat hyakims were heard. Meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan

Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a regular meeting of the State Security Council. The agenda included the results of work done by the country’s military and law enforcement agencies in January 2024. Priority objectives have also been identified to maintain security and stability in our independent Homeland, strengthen the material and technical resources of security agencies, and further improve their performance. On January 4-5, 2024 the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid a working visit to the United Arab Emirates. The separate agreements reached as a result of efforts of Turkmenistan and the UAE to coordinate joint efforts to develop exemplary intergovernmental relations based on the principles of equality, mutual respect, and mutual advantage formed the basis of the documents signed during this visit.

At the same time, the necessary amendments and addenda are being made to the Family and Civil Procedure Codes, and the provisions of a number of laws are being brought into line with the requirements of the time.
