The President of Turkmenistan took part in the first meeting of multilateral cooperation “C5+1”

On September 19, 2023, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is on a working visit to New York to participate in the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, took part in the first meeting of multilateral cooperation “C5+1”. The summit was an important opportunity to discuss a range of issues, including regional security, trade and connectivity, climate change and ongoing reforms to improve governance and the rule of law.

The President of Turkmenistan takes part in the plenary session of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is on a working visit to New York, takes part in the plenary meeting of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The head of state will speak at the session of the UN General Assembly and voice Turkmenistan’s position on pressing issues of our time related to issues of strengthening peace, security and development, as well as solving environmental issues.

A working trip of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan to Arkadag city

Today, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan made a working trip to Arkadag city to get himself familiarized with projects of the objects planned to be constructed as well as the state of work at building sites. Besides it, Hero-Arkadag examined types of used building materials, took interest in methods of conducted work with a view of maintenance of appropriate level of the ecological environment of the new city. At present, thanks to initiatives and efforts of Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a start was given to construction of the industrial cluster of the new city - industrial complexes. All work is carried out at high rates. Efficiency and versatility of large-scale construction activities developed there reflect a harmonious development of Arkadag city.

Participation of the President of Turkmenistan in Consultative meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia

On September 14, 2023, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia. The forum was also attended by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev as an honorary guest.

Hero-Arkadag was awarded the Badge of Honour of the Heads of State of Central Asia

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who arrived in Dushanbe on a working visit at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, was awarded the Badge of Honor of the Heads of State of Central Asia. The award ceremony took place at the «Kasri Millat» Palace; the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon presented the award to the Hero-Arkadag to the applause of those gathered in a solemn atmosphere.

The President of Turkmenistan held a working meeting via a digital system

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and the khyakims of velayats to discuss issues related to development of the agricultural complex, as well as the progress of work in the regions of the country. The floor was first given to the Akhal Velayat Khyakim R. Hojagulyev, who reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.

The meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. Its agenda included results of the work carried out for eight months of the current year, actual tasks of social and economic development of the country and drafts of some documents. The first floor was given to Chairwoman of the Mejlis D.Gulmanova, who informed on results of activity for January-August months of this year on improvement of legislation of the country.

The meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan

Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, general Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the next meeting of the State Security Council. The agenda of the meeting included results of work of military and law enforcement bodies for eight months of the current year as well as issues of security and tranquillity in the independent Turkmen state, strengthening of the technical and material basis of security departments and further perfection of their activity. Secretary of the State Security Council, minister of defence B.Gundogdyev, who was the first to take the floor, reported on a set of activities taken in military units of the national army for consolidation of defensibility of the fatherland, increase of professionalism of servicemen, creation of conditions for effective service and life for officers and members of their families from the beginning of the year.

The President of Turkmenistan received the head of the University of Tsukuba

On September 5, 2023, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the President of the Japanese University of Tsukuba Kyosuke Nagata. At the beginning of the meeting, the guest conveyed warm greetings from the Emperor and the Prime Minister of Japan, who expressed the deep interest of the Japanese side in building up the traditional partnership with Turkmenistan.

On September 5, 2023, during the meeting of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the President of the University of Tsukuba Kyosuke Nagata, the prospects for deepening the traditional Turkmen-Japanese cooperation were discussed. At the beginning of the meeting, the guest conveyed to Arkadag the words of greeting from the Emperor and the Prime Minister of Japan, who highly appreciate the great personal contribution of the National Leader of the Turkmen people to the strengthening of interstate relations.
