On December 5, 2023, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Executive Director of the Turkmenistan-US Business Council Eric Stewart. Welcoming the guest, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the development of traditionally friendly relations with the United States of America. Taking this opportunity, the head of state wished the successful holding of the 10th anniversary joint business forum in Ashgabat, expressing confidence that it would serve to strengthen the Turkmen-American investment partnership.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, and velayat khyakims to review the pace of work in the agricultural sector and regions of the country. The working visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates has ended

On December 2, 2023, late in the evening, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s working visit to the United Arab Emirates, where the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP-28) is taking place, ended. The state and prospects for building up the Turkmen-Emirati interstate dialogue were discussed during the meeting of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is taking part in the COP28 climate conference in Dubai, and the Vice-President, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Affairs of the Office of the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system. The agenda included current objectives of the country’s socio-economic development, a number of draft documents, as well as other issues. The first to speak was Chairwoman of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova, who informed about the outcomes of the fourth session of the seventh convocation of the National Parliament, during which the Law of Turkmenistan “On the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2024”, the Mejlis Resolution “On the execution of the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2022”, laws on introducing amendments and addenda to the Civil, Arbitration, Criminal Procedure, Criminal, Customs, Tax Codes and a number of other legal regulations were adopted.
